HAMSTEAD BACK ON TOP IN VIRGINIA

Round seven of the iRacing.com V8 Supercars Series presented by BigPond took the teams to the community of Alton, near Danville, Virginia. VIR as it's also known as is a 5.26km track in length with 17 corners, it is without a doubt one of the most challenging tracks in the series, with no room for error, no run off areas and slippery grass sending cars skating towards the picturesque track barriers.

With Championship leader Madison Down a no show this week due to internet troubles it left the grid wide open and Richard Hamstead would take full advantage claiming pole position only via one tenth to Joshua Muggleton with Justin Ruggier just .007 behind Muggleton.
